With the development of wireless communication technology,Wi-Fi(Wireless Fidelity)has been widely developed,because it has the features of mobility,convenience and cheapness.In the outdoor environment,Location Based Service(LBS)has been widely used in many aspects.In the indoor environment,however,due to the surrounding buildings and complex environment,the traditional positioning method cannot get the accurate position,so that it is difficult to meet the needs of indoor positioning.Because free Wi-Fi hotspots cover a wide range and they are easy to be used,cheap,Wi-Fi based indoor positioning technology has become an important research hotspot.In this dissertation,we research location fingerprint positioning algorithm based on Received Signal Strength Indicator(RSSI)and analysis of the relevant factors,such as obstacles and antenna direction.We propose a regional division based K-Nearest Neighbor(KNN)algorithm which includes the processes of signal preprocessing,weighted KNN and K optimization.Through the actual scene experiment,results shows that the positioning accuracy of improved algorithm compared to original algorithm,is increased by 7%and the time of the algorithm is shorter.
