An Image Fusion Method Based On SIST And Intelligent Fusion Rules

With the continuous development of digital image media,image fusion technology as an important part of information technology facilitates the processing of different imaging principles of image data.Single imaging device has the disadvantage of missing information in terms of obtaining data information.Image fusion technology fuses the acquired source image into new images that contain more plentiful and useful information.The fusion image facilitates information extraction and data analysis,so the image fusion technology has been very good application and development.In this paper,based on the principle of multi-scale geometric analysis fusion algorithm,an image fusion algorithm based on Shift-Invariant Shearlet Transform and intelligent fusion rule is proposed.The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is superior to traditional image processing methods in visual effect and evaluation index.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)This paper studies the image fusion method based on wavelet transform(Wavelet Transform).Based on the wavelet transform,the Non-Subsampled Contourlet Transform(NSCT)is discussed.Because it avoids the down-sampling operation,overcomes the blurring of the edge detail and the Gibbs effect,so it is applied more in the field of image fusion.Although NSCT has better linear approximation characteristics,the non-subsampled contours of the fusion image detail clarity are not high.(2)The shear wave system is discussed,and the two-dimensional shear wave transform method is summarized.The realization method of discrete shear wave in frequency domain and time domain is briefly described.The image fusion effect shows that the texture information of the shear wave fusion image is clearer than the wavelet transform and NSCT image fusion algorithm.(3)An image fusion algorithm based on Shift-Invariant Shearlet Transform(SIST)is proposed.The fusion rules of low frequency sub-band and high frequency sub-band are discussed,and the fusion rule based on standard deviation 0 coefficient and PCNN is adopted respectively.In Matlab simulation experiments,the fusion effect of SIST is compared with wavelet transform and non-subsampled contourlet transform.The evaluation index of the fusion image proves the validity of the SIST.
