Research On LTE-R Field Strength Measurement Method

High speed railway is not only a strategic industry of national priority development,but also an important part of "The Belt and Road","Beijing Tianjin Hebei collaborative development" and "Yangtze River economic belt".The railway mobile communication system is the nerve center of the railway,carrying the railway dispatching command,train operation control,fault warning,danger notice and emergency rescue and so forth.It is an important support system for high speed railway achieving safe and efficient,convenient and comfortable and green transportation services.Constrained by structural problems of the current GSM-R system,existing GSM-R network cannot provide broadband data stream services.The evolution from GSM-R to the next generation of railway mobile communication system--LTE-R has been put on the agenda.The field strength measurement plays an important role in the engineering design,construction acceptance and operation maintenance.For example,the department of railway mobile communication engineering construction and acceptance needs to test field strength of coverage,evaluate the level of network coverage and avoid weak field and blind area.The design department also needs to master the situation of multipath distribution and optimize parameters of network deployment.Thus,this thesis is supported by the special project of Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission,called "the research on LTE-R network service quality evaluation system of high speed railway".This paper mainly studies the LTE-R field strength measurement.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)Based on the analysis of the GSM-R field strength test method and the LTE-R signal structure,this paper puts forward the main indexes of the LTE-R field strength test.(2)In this paper,a set of LTE-R field strength testing system is designed.Besides,the key problems such as sampling interval and high speed mobile channel detection function are studied.(3)This paper validates the LTE-R field strength test system,mainly for system performance test and comparing test.The test results prove that the LTE-R field test method in this paper is effective.It can measure the LTE-R field parameters effectively.
