In recent years,flexible top-emitting organic electroluminescent devices(OLEDs)have the advantages of high-contrast,wide color gamut,low power consumption and light,thin,flexible,etc.,which are unique to their own light-emitting devices.The growing market share,has also become a display of theoretical research and technology development hot spots.However,the perspective of the top emitting OLED device,the improvement of light efficiency is still not yet satisfactorily solved.The introduction of flexible structures makes it a new problem.Compared with conventional rigid glass devices(glass,metal),the film package has good bending properties,but the encapsulation effect of the thin film layer is the same as that of the glass package with excellent water and oxygen isolation performance.Everyone's attention hot spots.Thin film packaging gradually developed organic multi-layer stacking composite packaging layer structure,greatly improving the life of OLED devices,to the level can be applied.However,compared with the(glass)plate package,the thin film package layer has a negative impact on the device's optical characteristics,which affects the efficiency and power consumption of the device,which will OLED display applications in the advantages of a certain weakened.So improving the effect of thin film packaging on the optical performance of the device plays an important role.This paper focuses on the optical function of thin film encapsulation related to the optical performance of flexible top-emitting OLED devices to study the impact.First of all,from the film packaging and device structure to start in the theoretical analysis of the device optical performance by the package-related structure of the impact,that is mainly due to the package layer affected the device out of the optical path of the optical structure,which changed before the glass plate package optimization Of the optical structure and related parameters caused by this hypothesis by experiment and analysis has been confirmed.Then we use the optical model for the optical function of the parameters of the simulation analysis,according to the results we propose in the original package within the top layer of the capping layer(capping layer)and the package between the film to add a layer of low refractive index layer on the device light efficiency To improve the program-,through simulation and optimization of experimental programs,and finally experimental verification.In our experiments,the efficiency of the film-encapsulated top-emitting OLED device was increased from 64%of the glass cover package reference to 84%,confirming this as an effective way to improve the optical performance of flexible packaged OLED devices and Flexible packaging provides the idea of optical improvement.
