In the internet era,wireless communication is booming,especially mobile communication,which makes spectrum a valuable and scarce resource.OFDM technology is an efficient way of data transmission,and it has a high spectrum utilization.Compared with the single carrier technology,the PAPR and the cost of multi carrier technology is too high.If the bandwidth can meet the needs of the business,you can use a single carrier system.The high PAPR is the common problem in single carrier technology and multi carrier technology.So far,most of the research work has focused on the PAPR optimization of OFDM system,but there are few methods to optimize the single carrier PAPR.In this paper,we discuss and research on the PAPR of single carrier microwave system.Because all the optimization algorithm of PAPR in the modulation system can't be directly used to reduce the PAPR of the single carrier microwave system except clipping algorithm.In this paper,we mainly study the traditional algorithm of reducing the PAPR of modulation system,in order to apply these algorithms to reduce the PAPR of single carrier microwave system in the future.Although the clipping algorithm can cause the distortion of the signal,it can reduce the loss of the signal through the filter.We can consider the combination of clipping algorithm.In this paper,firstly,we analysis the relationship between PAPR and signal amplitude,and construct a mathematical model of infinite norm.Then we introduce the idea of signal segmentation,and combine with the clipping algorithm and companding algorithm.Finally we puts forward three kinds of inhibition of single carrier microwave system PAPR algorithm based on the mathematical model of infinite norm,namely the segmented zoom filter,segment limiting zoom filter algorithm,cycle suppression algorithm.In this paper,we firstly describes the mathematical principle of infinite norm model,and derive the model in detail.Then we introduce the theoretical analysis and derive the formula of the three algorithms,and then simulate three algorithms by numerical experiments.Finally,we modify the infinite norm model,and simulate the three algorithms based on the new model.From the results,we can see that the three algorithms can effectively reduce PAPR of the single carrier microwave system under the condition of satisfying the spectrum template,and the performance of EVM and BER is very good.Compared with the traditional clipping algorithm,the amplitude of PAPR can be reduced by the three algorithms proposed in this paper is more than that,especially the third algorithms.Therefore,this paper has made a pioneering achievement in reducing PAPR of the single carrier microwave system.
