Nowadays more and more people in the world are plagued by inner ear disease,the inner ear is the auditory functional organ,in-depth study the early development of the inner ear is an important way to explore the treatment method.In this paper,a three-dimensional simulation method for the early development of inner ear is proposed,which can solve the computer simulation problem of inner ear development.In addition,some measurement data are given through the three-dimensional model of the inner ear development and the model in the morphing process,they can provide effective information for the morphing process.The main work is as follows:(1)The source model and the target model feature point-pair acquisition.Source model and target grid model were constructed by paraffin section and 3D reconstruction technology,calculate model grid salience,set the corresponding threshold to extract the salient feature point information of the model,the method is simple and fast and has good noise immunity.Construct the source model and target model OBB bounding box,through aligning the two models in the axial direction,the feature point of the target model are projected onto the source model,The projection point is the corresponding feature point,then obtain the feature point information between the two models.(2)Simulation of early development of inner ear using three-dimensional morphing technology.The feature point-pair information extracted from the 3D model is used as the constraint condition,a radial basis function interpolation implicit surface function is constructed.By solving the linear equations,the implicit surface function is obtained,which is the mapping function between the models,the matching relation between the vertexes of the model is established.Based on the correspondence between the source model and the target model,the Laplace bilinear interpolation method is used to interpolate the path to realize the three-dimensional morphing process.In addition,the problem of triangular size is large,narrow and smooth morphing in the grid model morphing process are solved by adding mesh optimization algorithm and smoothing strategy.(3)Three-dimensional mesh model measurement of inner ear earlier development.By building a bounding box to obtain the source mesh model and the target mesh model and the morphing intermediate models three dimensional size information,the mesh model volume and area information can be obtained by using the 3D mesh model size information.These model measurements are important for computer simulation,and provide useful data for the early development of the inner ear.In this paper,we construct a RBF interpolation implicit surface function and interpolation algorithm to realize the visual simulation of early inner ear development.The algorithm is simple,fast and the morphing process is smooth,which achieves a good effect on early development of inner ear.
