Internet of Things(IoT)connects sensors and devices to their adaptive Internet appli-cations.However,these applications are usually designed for specific intentions,which lead to a poor interoperability between them.Semantic Web of Things(SWoT)is an ef-fective means to improve IoT.The goal of SWoT is semantic cooperation,whether the semantic cooperation can be successfully completed is directly related to the richness of semantic information.In this paper,a gateway-based semantic coordination method was proposed.This method combines gateway technology and semantic technology,takes semantic coopera-tion as goal,and shields tprotocal heterogeneous and rich semantic information as starting point.this paper design a gateway-based semantic coordination framework that query sensor data shielding protocol heterogeneous and add semantic information.further in-fer context information.The functional modules of the architecture include user request processing module,heterogeneous sensor data processing module,semantic annotation module SSN-based and rule based reasoning module.Processing sensor data using heterogeneous protocols in a unified manner by da-ta processing based on multi protocol proxy.This module introduces two components,message storage and theme routing,every meaningful sensor state could be described as theme,which is managed by theme routing,message storage is used for caching protocol client messages.this protocol proxy realize the proxy among CoAP protocol besed REST,MQTT protocol based on subscriber/publisher modeand and XMPP protocol.In this paper a semantic annotation based on SSN is designed,solving the problem of semantic disambiguation in the annotation process by the shortest path algorithm.The effectiveness and correctness of semantic annotation designed in this paper are verified by semantic annotation experiments.In this paper,semantic annotation is used to mark sensors,presents the sensor ER modeling model and annotating rules.It is important to add semantic information to sensors and sensor data.One hand,enhancing the semantic processing ability of sensor data;On the other hand,it is beneficial to get more context information by registering sensors in semantic way,which is helpful to provide high qual-ity semantic cooperative service for users.Finally,The semantic information is used for inferring to get context information,which is returned to user to provide semantic service.This paper designed and implemented the prototype system of the gateway-based semantic coordination system,which is verified by test data.using precision and recall evaluate this prototype system,the experimental results show that this system greatly im-proves the precision of the context quering ensuring recall at the same time,that illustrate the gateway-based semantic coordination system can provide users effective semantic col-laborative service.
