With the rapid development of information technology,the needs for information technology of modern enterprise management are expanding constantly.Industry has proposed the concepts of enterprise ERP and MES systems,and the systems gradually applied in metallurgy,medicine,tobacco,petrochemical and other industries.And this makes the markets,suppliers and partners related business and enterprise production,quality control and so on all included in the scope of Enterprise management.In the process of information construction,major International and domestic steel companies,such as U.S.Steel Union,Nippon Steel,Baoshan Iron and Steel,etc.gradually form an enterprise information system architecture based on "ERP + MES + PCS".The system discussed in this thesis is developed by a combination of Java and C programming language and DB2 database is applied.The B/S architecture based plan management module of MES system is developed,which should be suitable for the production management of Hot Rolling Mill.The Server system is AIX.There are eight functions in this sub-system,they are establishing and maintaining of plans' rules,building plans' pool,forming plans,plans' appending,plans' editing,plans' cancelling and sending and tracking the plans.The main goals to achieve are:reasonable selection of steel coils information,flexible adjustment for plans,sending the plan information stably and so on.The system uses Tuxedo middleware for database access and maintenance.UI is mainly developed in Java with some help of CSS and JavaScript.CSS is used to control the UI layout and styles and the business logic is accomplished by using C language,which takes care of processing entity classes and controlling business processes classes.Based on the analysis of overall production process of hot rolling mill requirements and processes,the thesis proposes the basic scheme for Web environment B/S structure of the MES system.The thesis specifies the detailed design and implementation of the plan management MES subsystem which is using B/S structure,including the requirements analysis of the design and development process,features design,code class design specifications,program files and database design description.At last,system tested is launched.The solution has some advantages in terms of the following aspects:design with reliability,a high real-time level and high level security,and it's suitable for hot rolling mill producing management.The system can significantly improve production quality and efficiency.
