With the rapid development of science and technology, the applicative range of wireless sensor networks will be used wider and wider. Compared with the wired network, wireless sensor networks have a lot more flexibility, and have more convenience in the massive upgrade. On account of its wide applications, worm attack has become one of the main threats faced by wireless sensor networks. In recent years, the research on worm propagation has experienced a switch from traditional internet to wireless sensor networks. Therefore, we need to study the rule of worm propagation and the characteristic of worm in wireless sensor networks, so as to design a reasonable model to constrict the worm propagation in the wireless sensor networks.Firstly, this thesis introduces briefly the basic concept and application of wireless sensor network, and then introduces the propagation control of worms and the research state. Secondly, this thesis proposes a n-worm propagation model to depict the characteristics of worm propagation in wireless sensor network by the theory of linear dynamics, and then gives the concept of competitive worms and depicts the dynamics of worms propagating in the wireless sensor network having n worms. Through analyzing this model, this thesis gives the threshold condition where worms can disappear in this model. Both theoretical analysis and simulation analysis prove the correctness of this condition. Thirdly, this thesis considers the case in which the worm can spread between the mobile nodes and the fixed nodes, proposing an interactive model based on nodes in the wireless sensor networks. This model divides sensor nodes into immobile nodes and mobile nodes, and then uses geometry knowledge to calculate the contact rate of mobile nodes. Through analysing the interactive dynamics between mobile nodes and immobile nodes, this thesis proves the numerical stability of this model. Finally, based on traditional worm propagation model in wireless sensor networks, this thesis proposes a variant worm propagation model in wireless sensor networks, and then analyzes the necessary condition where worms can be propagated secondly and the characteristics of variant worm propagation. This model is proved to be effective by numerical simulation. This thesis studies the propagation control of worms in wireless sensor networks. By analyzing the propagation characteristics of worm propagation, this thesis proposes the strategy that can constrain the propagation of worms, which has certain reference significance to propose the ways to constrict the worm propagation.
