Research And Implementation On The Key Technology Of Panoramic Image Mosaic

Panoramic image mosaic technology is an import research interest in the field of digital image.The technology can realize spliced image with a wide field of view and rich information which benefits to overall understanding of reality scene.With the development of areas such as image processing and computer vision,image mosaic technology has achieved a better improvement and development in precision and robustness.Image mosaic has been widely used in the marine and mineral survey,satellite remote sensing exploration,medial imaging,computer special-effects and popular virtual reality.In this paper,important technology of image mosaic would be research and analysis to improve efficiency and mosaic effects,thus achieveing panoramic image mosaic.The main contents are as follows:(1)Research on the algorithms of feature extraction.The main is the three algorithms about SIFT,SURF and ORB,and then an improved algorithm based on the research and analysis of these is proposed to achieve better speed and stability.(2)Research on the algorithms of image registration.During the rough match process,two algorithms based on Hamming distance,the nearest neighbor algorithm and the neighbor ratio algorithm,are introduced and the later is adopted by experiments;and during the precise match process,RANSAC algorithm and PROSAC algorithm are studied,and the later is improved to achieve better matching effects.(3)Research on the algorithms of image registration.Classical algorithms are introduced.And by comparison,optimal stitching line and poisson fusion is adopt as the fusion algorithm in this paper.Finally,a smooth and natural panoramic image is achieved by realizing the panoramic stitching based on the algorithms in this paper.
