With the growing bandwidth available to users,there are a series of large bandwidth services emerging in our life.They are mainly ultra high definition video services.Along with the development of video service,we need to have a good assessment system and a monitoring system to help its development.Among them,the video quality assessment system is mainly based on the combination of subjective and objective methods.And the video monitoring system should be built according to the objective reference indexes of the quality assessment system.Focused on the relevant issues around the video quality and monitoring,the main work and specific research results of this paper are as follows:(1)This paper assesses the quality of videos by the U-vMOS standard system which has been proposed in the recent years.In addition,the paper calculates the U-vMOS value of some 4K UHD videos and other common videos.And the results can reflect the advantage of UHD video.(2)According to the value of U-vMOS,this paper points out that in order to develop high quality UHD video services,the access network requires more than one hundred megabytes bandwidth.Combined with the results of the present access network test of 1G-EPON and G-PON,which the author has participated in the engineering practice link,this paper points out that the present network can not meet the demand of many users to get more than 100 megabytes bandwidth in the same time.(3)Facing to the current video monitoring system,this paper thoroughly analyzes the relevant contents of the monitoring probes.Among them,zapping time and loading time must be reported by probe during monitoring,as the reference index which can reflect the video service quality.Driven by interests,some cheaters often use the probe's loophole to make the duration time smaller in the report.In allusion to this instance,this paper proposes a solution based on monitoring cheating.The method uses a video capture card and MATLAB programming.The video capture card can take the TV image to the computer.MATLAB programming can judge the existence of cheating by using correlation algorithm based on RGB or luminance.To a certain extent,this method can instead of the previous manual time test to prevent cheating.It not only can greatly reduce the consumption of manpower,but also improve the current monitoring system.
