The 5th Generation Mobile Communication(5G)technology is a new generation of mobile communication systems that meet the needs of communications. In the face of diversified business types, specific user needs, low delay and high reliability and other aspects of the next generation of communications, especially wireless communications multi-carrier technology presents a huge challenge. The new multi-carrier Filtered-OFDM(F-OFDM)technology Because of its technical characteristics can be based on the actual business scenarios to dynamically select and configure different waveform parameters and respected by the industry,5G technology and F-OFDM technology combined will be derived from a variety of application scenarios,in order to meet the diverse business needs of many vertical industries.Based on the specific business requirements in the future,F-OFDM technology divides existing system frequency bands into subbands that can support different service bandwidth and reliability requirements,so as to achieve the purpose of improving spectrum utilization. At the same time, resource allocation as one of the key technologies of F-OFDM system, the accuracy of the algorithm will affect and even determine the whole system,so how to allocate resources according to the different business needs of different users and how to configure the soft air parameters is an urgent solved problem. In this paper,we focus on the resource allocation of F-OFDM system downlink and compare it with OFDM system. In order to determine the optimal guard interval between F-OFDM sub-bands,the BER performance of F-OFDM system is analyzed based on different subband guard interval simulation. The simulation results show that the interference interval between the sub-bands can be eliminated by adding the guard interval of three subcarriers in high order modulation, and compared with the OFDM system, and the bit error rate of F-OFDM system is better.Due to the introduction of F-OFDM,the basic unit of radio resource can be configured with different waveform parameters. It is mainly based on the flexible design of frame structure, subcarrier mapping and the introduction of subband filter. The power allocation algorithm is used to further improve the capacity of F-OFDM system. Therefore, this paper analyzes the equal power allocation algorithm, the basic water filling power allocation algorithm and the water filling power allocation algorithm based on different channel models in F-OFDM downlink. The simulation results show that the system capacity is relatively better when the F-OFDM system uses the water filling power allocation algorithm under different channel models.
