No matter in the actual production process,or in the nature operation process,the stability is an essential basis for normal running.Therefore,it has an important theoretical significance and practical application value to measure the stability margin.And still now,it has not been seen that there is no method to measure the stability margin through singular perturbation theory for MIMO system.In the view of the problem of analysis and measure stability margin,a method based on singular perturbation theory is proposed to measure the stability margin of multi-input multi-output system.According to the review of current research status of stability margin for control system,the merits and demerits of different methods are analyzed.Combined with the singular perturbation method to solve the problem of stability margin for single variable system,a method based on singular perturbation theory is provided to deal with the stability margin for multivariable system.The main idea of this method is that a singular perturbation system with a small parameter is introduced,and the range of the small parameter can be got through small gain theory,then the stability margin of the system can be calculated.Here,a concrete model of two-input two-output system is established,the stability margin of system is calculated by the above mentioned method,and then results are combined with the others literature about stability margin of multivariable system.By comparing the results,it show that the method here can reflect the stability margin of the multivariable system and can be backward compatible.
