Device-to-Device Communication Underlay cellular networks is as expected will contribute highly in enhancing cellular network communications in the aspects of throughput,high data rates,spectrum efficiency and energy efficiency,those aspects are considered as measurements of robust modern cellular network communication.Allocating radio and power resources for D2D communications is an interference-inevitable process to a cellular network unless elaborate coordination between cellular users and D2D users is well-thought-out.Among the fore mentioned aspects,the power(energy)efficiency is dominating since the user equipment is battery-limited handheld equipment.Previous works focused on energy efficiency as an algorithm(Optimizing apps for efficient battery consumption).In this paper the proposal is adding a RF energy harvester to user equipment(UE)not to cancel the usage of battery,but to increase its lifetime as it is known that UEs are battery-limited handheld devices.This paper continues the work on the paper(Energy-Efficient Resource Allocation for Device-to-Device Underlay Communication)and investigate the effect of always on energy source over interference(intra-cell and inter-cell),battery lifetime,battery lifetime with transmit power,expected data transmission during battery lifetime,and finally evaluate the overall contribution the cellular network.(Enhanced data offloading can reduce load on the network and avail empty channels).In this paper also,it is proposed to extend the Device-to-Device link period out of the intersection(overlapping)zone as proposed by Assisted Handover Based on Device-to-Device Communications in 3 GPP LTE Systems work to highly guarantee and maintain stable and maximum offloading of data and video streaming.In this paper,it presents the suggestion that the cellular user equipment assigns the relaying task to be carried out through the most energy-efficient and highest SNR D2D pair or packet,as part of the previous work extension,adaptive mode selection and spectrum allocation schemes are also reintroduced to ensure better performance for both cellular and D2D users.
