Design And Implementation Of Online Translation Proxy System Based On Apache HttpClient

In recent years,with the rapid development of different kinds of application,many online translation systems greatly facilitate people reading papers or other materials in foreign language.Now,the mainstream online translation systems include Google Translator,Yahoo Translator,Youdao Translator,CNKI Translator,Being Translator,Baidu Translator and Jinqiao Translator,etc.All of these systems have their own advantages,satisfying different translation requirements.However,machine translation still cannot totally substitute manual translation although there has been a large improvement in natural language processing technics.In addition,despite of the accuracy of manual translation,its speed is not comparable with machine translation.Therefore,it is necessary to develop a more intelligent translation system both considering the machine translation and the manual translation.Furthermore,considering the distinctive features of the existing online translation systems,this paper intends to design and implement an online translation proxy system,which not only integrates the existing online translation systems,but also adds a new function of translation results evaluation.This paper first conducts a survey on the state-of-art of the online translation systems,concludes the mainstream translation systems,and analyzes the features and their applicable scenarios of those systems.Then,this paper integrates the mainstream translation systems with different distinctive features,and also adds a new function of translation results evaluation.Finally,this paper conducts adequate tests on the designed intelligent translation proxy system.Test results show that,the system designed in this paper can run steadily and has implemented all of the functions designed.The online translation proxy system designed in this paper integrates the existing mainstream online translation system;with this system,users do not have to visit different websites according to their different requirements,significantly improving the user experience.In addition,the new added function of translation results evaluation can also increase the translation quality of the system through collecting feedbacks from the users,making all user involved in the system and make contribution to it.Certainly,the system designed in this paper also has many aspects to be improved,such as the system pages beautification and the new added function of user evaluation,which will be addressed in our future works.
