Mobile object tracking technology has important research value and wide application prospect in civil and military fields.The rise and development of wireless sensor network(WSN)provide an excellent solution for mobile target tracking.With the advantages of low power consumption,low cost,flexible deployment and many functions,the mobile object tracking based on WSN is more convenient,more effective and easier to popularize than the traditional moving target tracking method.Although WSNs-based mobile object tracking has many advantages,it is also faced with the problems of computing capacity,storage capacity,communication capacity and energy of sensor nodes in practical applications,which makes the mobile object tracking based on WSNs in practical applications there are still many challenges.In order to improve the localization accuracy of sensor nodes,target tracking accuracy and the energy efficiency of sensor nodes,based on existing target location and tracking technology,this thesis aims to build a WSN-based moving target tracking system with high tracking precision and low power consumption.The main work of this thesis is as follows:1.This thesis introduces the mobile object tracking technology of WSN,focuses on the analysis and summarizes the technology of target location based on distance measurement,which lays a technical foundation for constructing the mobile object tracking system of WSN.2.The steps of the extended kalman filter(EKF)algorithm and the unscented kalman filter(UKF)algorithm with low computational complexity and high tracking accuracy are analyzed and summarized.The EKF algorithm and the UKF algorithm are converted into target tracking algorithm program modules by using the C ++ program development language.The two algorithms are applied to the WSN-based mobile object tracking system.The performance difference between the two algorithms when applied in practical situations are analyzed.3.The experiment platform of moving target tracking system based on WSN is set up.In the hardware platform design,low power consumption,high precision ultrasonic sensors are utilized to build WSN nodes and extend the working life of WSNs.Completed the design of communication between the hardware module data packet.For system software design,based on VS2012 and MFC developed a user-friendly,powerful PC software.Finally,a series of experiments are carried out to verify the tracking performance of the moving target tracking system.
