With the continuous development and popularity of information technology and office automation technology, it is necessary to use automated tools to protect files stored in our computers. For exchanging data between the computer and the computer more and more, it has brought a lot of security problems, such as:information intercepting, falsifying, distorting, and so on. In short, the data security problem mainly includes the following points. Confidentiality:the data file is encrypted to protect and make it unreadable, prevent information is illegal to steal; Integrity:prevent data is not accidentally or deliberately modifications, forge, delete, etc; Non-repudiation:to confirm the authenticity of the participants, guarantee the received data real legal documents; Access control:to ensure the data file will not be in addition to any person other than the receiver decryption. At present most products need huge investment to solve such files data security problem, and the solution of low cost and easy to extend is expected. So the system of appeal security issues should have a market prospect. The government and the enterprise office automation application platforms are mostly the Windows operating system, and the data also basically use files to store and manage in our computes, So "digital file encryption system" is based on the Windows operating system. Firstly, A hybrid encryption algorithm will realize the data confidentiality and access control. Secondly, the asymmetric encryption algorithm and the digital certificate are used for data confidentiality, integrity, identification and non-repudiation.According to the complicated network environment and specific data security requirements, combing with the development trend of related technologies, this paper describes the data security direction in detail and a digital file encryption system is designed and implemented. The main work is as follows:(1) Set the basic principles of system development and security analysis and design of the digital file encryption system for the following work.(2) According to security requirements, the functions of the digital file encryption system are designed and function modules are divided, and its working principle?key technology and technical way are analyzed for the subsequent development work(3) The digital file encryption system software will be developed, and we have the functional test which verify the effectiveness of the system development.
