With the profound development of both the new-generation IT and its integration with manufacturing industry, further impacts to enterprises are emerged. New production methods, new business patterns and new profit growth opportunities gradually come into sight. Based on the technique of Internet of Things, the remote monitoring system, which integrates remote monitoring, failure diagnosis and after-sales services, is able to intuitively access the running conditions of petroleum equipment products in real time, so that to obtain full operational records, which would be helpful to assist in potential trouble-shooting with those products, reducing operative costs, improving efficiency and quality of service. In order to effectively improving the ability and quality of after-sales services, this thesis designed a remote monitoring system with the monitoring message publish/subscribe mechanism as the core based on the event driven service-oriented architecture, in response to the practical demands of petroleum equipment enterprises. This work proposed the design scheme and modularized the system in detail. And the main work can be described as the following aspects:(1) The design and implementation of the subsystem of message monitoring service based on message-oriented middleware. This subsystem is the core for information interaction of the remote monitoring system, including the modules of message communication, event processing, and management configuration. This subsystem implemented the functions of the asynchronous transmission of messages among various other subsystems, the real-time publish/subscribe of monitoring data and alert events, and the distribution of monitoring data.(2) The design and implementation of the subsystem of equipment accessing by analyzing the on-site usage. This subsystem implemented the access of normalized operational data measured by monitoring devices to the main system by means of configuration, and transmitting to the back service subsystem. This thesis studies the event-driven service-oriented architecture and the mechanism of message publish/subscribe, designs a remote monitoring system for petroleum equipments, in which the functions of on-site device access management, alert model management, real time monitoring, alert and technical support have been implemented. The function test and performance test have proved that this system is able to satisfy users' demands on equipment operational condition, real time monitoring and remote technical support. This system is expected to have the potential to effectively improve the efficiency of after-sales technical services.
