Vortex beams are dark hollow beams with spiral wavefront, and have stable orbital angular momentum in the transmission process. These characteristics make this kind of beam more and more widely used in many fields such as optical micromanipulation, atomic optics, material science, information transmission, biomedical area. Ince-Gaussian modes are put forward in recent years. It gradually become one of the focus of researches because it forms the basis vector of the near axis wave equation in the elliptic cylindrical coordinate system. However, how to efficiently obtain high purity vortex beam and Ince Gaussian beam has always been the emphasis and difficulty in research.Based on the method of binary hologram, this paper obtains vortex beams and Ince-Gaussian holograms that can be used in spatial light modulator through the modulation of the above mentioned beam simulation diagram. Then the experimental device is designed based on the 4f system and spatial light modulator, and we experimentally obtain vortex beam and Ince-Gaussian mode.Besides, detection of vortex beams is also performed. The whole system has a simple setup and operation principle, and can realize dynamic controllable beam output, which means a lot in the generation of vortex beam and Ince-Gaussian beam. The main innovations of this paper are:The theoretical analysis and experimental output of the generation device of vortex beams based on spatial light modulator. The theoretical analysis and experimental research of the generation device of Ince-Gaussian beams based on spatial light modulator.
