Among the stars, star ground laser communications technology because of its anti-interference ability, high energy information, etc., in the era of information technology has broad application prospects. Laser optical antenna GEO satellite communication systems exposed to the outside, solar radiation will have a serious impact on the optical antenna,when sunlight directly into primary mirror optics, thermal deformation of the optical system,the optical element of serious damage as a direct result of communication interruption.Although the use of hoods can ameliorate the effects of solar heat effect on the optical antenna, but the limited size of the hood limited effect, to address the size of the problem raised by the study may show hood has many universities and research institutes, but not widely actual application.Considering these issues, design an application on the GEO satellite laser communication system onboard a gate plate hood, hood based on the traditional cylindrical structure, internally mounted parallel to the optical thin grid, by optimizing the grid plate height and spacing important parameters, will avoid the sun angle is reduced from the original 22.6 °to 9.6 °, the communication system due to the sun throughout the year to avoid the disruption of communication greatly reduced the number of days, so that the communication rate from 93% up to 99.51%, the same as a communication link with the extreme high temperature, low temperature impact transient operating conditions of solar radiation on the temperature of the primary mirror is significantly reduced, significantly decreased the maximum temperature of the primary mirror, the day of the primary mirror thermal control requirements exceed the maximum temperature(20℃± 5 ℃) time greatly shortened. Basic communication can be achieved throughout the year, which greatly limits the on-time can not be reduced to improve the link availability for engineering applications of laser communications system provides support and protection.
