Laser processing technology is a kind of widely used high flexible high energy beam machining technology, In order to improve the machining efficiency of industrial production, flying laser processing technology arises at the historic moment. But with the rapid development of computer vision, visual measurement as an important branch of computer vision has been widely used in more and more fields.In this paper, an intelligent laser flying processing software based on the OpenCV visual measurement which combined the visual measurement and laser flying processing was designed and implemented. This software mainly consists of two parts, visual measurement and laser processing, and which were combined through multithreading technology to combine the two parts to complete under the visual guidance of intelligent laser flying processing. The software processing flow is firstly to acquire and process the image of workpiece surface in real-time, secondly get the width of the workpiece and position deviation information, then laser flying process the workpiece. The main research content of this paper are is shown as follows:(1)the paper established intelligent laser flying processing hardware platform using monocular vision measurement, studied the related hardware composition from the vision measurement and the intelligent laser flying processing. Through the analysis of the spectrum produced by laser processing, the filter of line structured light was chosen. From the Angle of the system software design, analyzed the scheme of the system and the function of the system.(2) Based on OpenCV technology, a new monocular vision measuring methods was proposed, the combination of linear structured light and filter realized the accurate measurement of the width of the workpiece, and through the secondary development of OpenCV, realized the image binarization,clipping interested area as well as the image contour extraction. The measurement experiment of different sizes of workpiece is carried out, and the actual availability of the algorithm is verified.(3) Studied the basic principle of laser flying processing, technical scheme and the secondary development RTC4 control card. Laser flying processing module was designed and implemented, and the robots rocked in the process of the laser flying was analyzed. Presents a solving migration algorithm, designed related experiments to verify the correctness of the algorithm.(4) Designed experiments to verify the practical feasibility of intelligent laser flying processing system software, with the result of the experiment was analyzed, and from the perspective of software and hardware studied error factor. Analyzed the effect of laser quenching for visual measurement, designed experiments to get relevant process parameters, put forward the corresponding solutions.
