The data link of 1090 MHz in civil aviation system has been used in SSR transponder systems of mode A/C/S, ADS-B system and MLAT system to realize the relevant functions of communication, navigation and surveillance. In this paper, 1090ES receiver system based on Simulink has been built, and signal separation algorithm in the design of system also has been studied, then the simulation results of simulated datas and real recorded datas verified the correctness of the system.Firstly, we have introduced the system functions and the various components of system 1090ES receiver. In this part, the function and principle of each module have been described in detail. On this basis, we have also described the algorithms used by each module.Secondly, in this paper, PA algorithm has separated two overlapped 1090 MHz signals. The first part has introduced the mathematical theory of knowledge about the SVD decomposition theory applied into PA algorithm? The second part has introduced the mathematical model and algorithms of PA algorithm.Finally, Simulink models have been set up by the tools of Simulink to achieve system functions in this paper. The main content has been divided into two parts, the main work of the first part was the building and verifing the model of 1090ES receiver system, and the second part was the building and verifing the model of signal separation. The results have shown that, the PA algorithm was very practical in case of separating the two overlapped 1090 MHz signals.
