With the rapid development of the radio access technologies, the future wireless network should be a heterogeneous wireless environment which the multiple radio access technologies collaborate and coexistence in. The multiple radio access technologies have their characteristics, and the available resource and management mechanism of them are also different. Therefore, how to effectively amalgamate the multiple radio access technologies and allocate resources to the terminal equipment are important issues in the next generation wireless communication.The multi-media data demands are explosive growing with the increasing number of smart terminal equipment and the widespread deployment of multiple radio access technologies. The amalgamation of resource of the heterogeneous wireless networks to provide seamless high-rate multi-service to terminal equipment is the future trend. The power consumption of the terminal equipment becomes increasingly serious. The evolution of the battery technology has not kept up with the radio access networks and the massive multi-media services of users, so the green communication is also important for the terminal equipment. To address the above problems, we propose a radio resource allocation algorithm to meet the multi-service and an energy-efficient uplink resource allocation algorithm. The contents of this paper are summarized as follows:To guarantee the different service of the users, we propose a resource allocation algorithm to meet the multi-service in heterogeneous wireless networks. We assume that the terminal equipments of system all have multi-homing capacity and can access multiple radio access technologies simultaneously. Through the efficient integration of the resources of the radio access technologies, the proposed algorithm can maximize the total data rate of the system with the multi-service guarantees under the constraints of bandwidth of radio access technologies and the transmission power of terminal equipment.To enhance the energy efficiency of the uplink communication in heterogeneous wireless networks, an energy-efficient resource allocation algorithm with quality of service guarantee is proposed. The energy-efficient resource allocation problem is multi-ratio fractional programming, which is difficult to be solved directly. So we propose an iteration-based energy-efficient resource allocation algorithm. Decompose the problem into three parts and transform it to convex optimization problem and single-ratio fractional programming. Under the quality of service guarantee, optimize the sum of the energy efficiency of the mobile terminal in heterogeneous wireless networks.
