Stereo light microscope(SLM) is a kind of precision optical instruments. SLM visual system synchronization imaging, and at the same time, can synchronously gather left and right images of the object space scene. Signal acquisition delay time is very short, so that can be ignored and the effect of the synchronization is very good. The advantages make SLM widely use in micro-measurement. In this paper, we mainly studied the image sequence fusion and distortion correction method of large depth in SLM micro stereovision system. The technology of image fusion is of great importance in solving fuzzy problem of large depth object. The measurement technology in SLM microscopic vision system based on image fusion plays pivotal role in the study of shape matching and three dimensional reconstruction.The main contents of each chapter are as follows:The first chapter introduces the topic background and research significance; analyzes the related contents of microscopic measurement. The paper summarizes the research status at home and abroad; analyzes the development trend of SLM microscopic vision; leads to the image fusion technology. The definition of image fusion, hierarchy, fusion theory and fusion evaluation index are introduced.The second chapter introduces the design of microscopic visual measuring system with great depth of SLM. The measurement system structure of great depth based on the goal of image fusion of SLM microscopic vision was designed, and the system function was analyzed. At last, the working process of the system was introduced in the form of block diagram.The third chapter introduces the methods of microimage registration. Firstly, this chapter introduces microscopic image preprocessing methods such as image enhancement, histogram equalization and image filter processing, then studies the relationship of zooming and transiation with the depth of the object in the image. Lastly, the registration method is verified by the the final results of real image registration.The forth chapter introduces the method of image sequences fusion. Direct fusion method of image, image fusion method based on HIS transform, image fusion method based on image block segmentation, image fusion method based on Fourier transform and the fusion method based on wavelet transform are compared. We designed microscopic image sequence fusion algorithm that based on wavelet transform and evaluated the effect of fusion image.The fifth chapter introduces the distortion correction of SLM micro stereo images. The image distortion causing by SLM double optical paths structure is analyzed. Microscopic image distortion correction method is given, and distortion correction experiment is proceeded. Finally the distortion correction method is verified.
