Locata positioning system can be viewed as an indoor positioning system that not only can work independently in a complex indoor environment but also can be run in collaboration with the Global Positioning System, achieving indoor and outdoor environments "seamless" positioning. The Locata technology is designed with four key objectives: Available in all environments, High reliability, High accuracy and Cost effective, which can successfully solve the problem of “last mile” in navigation area, so that the study of Locata positioning system has great significance for indoor positioning area.In this contribution, I have done a lot of research work in positioning algorithm and system theory of Locata system, which can divided into the following sections:Firstly, a detailed description of the Locata system principle is written. This section mainly introduces the positioning principle, networking, clock synchronization method and distribution layout of system.Secondly, have a research on online Ambiguity algorithm of Locata system. In the process of Locata positioning, the target motion is slow or sampling interval sufficient shorter will easily lead the single differential Ambiguity observation equation presented ill. In this paper, Tikhonov+ LAMBDA algorithm is proposed to solve single difference Ambiguity. Last, Tikhonov+ LAMBDA algorithm is compared with LAMBDA algorithm and EKF float solution algorithm respectively. Finally, the tracking algorithm of Locata system is studied. In this article, several commonly used motion models and nonlinear filtering algorithms are briefly introduced and different sport model and nonlinear filtering algorithm combinations are made. Through Matlab simulation and analysis can get that IMMCSCA algorithm is adaptable and has a high positioning accuracy, which can be used as Locata positioning algorithm.
