A Recommendation Method For Resources In Education-Cloud Platform

With the rapid development of the information technology in education industry, applications based big data and cloud computing technology are becoming hot points, and online education platforms are naturally being the entry points for these new technologies.It is being an important issue for building Education-Cloud platform that how to provide more personized service to users based on existed data.This paper use service platform of educational resource, one of the core platform of wuhan education-cloud platform, to be the object of study and application, as the most typical personized service is resources recommendation.After summarizing and analyzing web logs in education cloud and currently existing recommendation technology, comparison of the applicability of various technologies in education cloud platform, a web log based recommendation method for education loud platform is given. The whole programme is divided into two parts: data proessing and recommendation implements. In the step of data pre-processing, through the learning on Wuhan Education-Cloud platform, including is' s network server schema, load balance strategy, Web log storage and referring settings, we output a method to get the targeted data. In the recommendation implements part, we choose Hadoop be the development environment. At last, by introducing the theory of one-mode projection of bipartite network, we achieved a resource-resource recommended methods in Map/Reduce programming model.In a real case for the design of the recommended method, through the limit of the very subject and study stage, the experiment outcome indicates that the recommendation results can mostly keep a sustained volume and teaching version. This shows that the implemented method can effectively retain the abstract related information and it could also expand user's knowledge.
