Design And Implementation Of Financial IC Card COS Operating System Based On Java Card Platform

At present most bank cards are magnetic stripe card which a lot of problem exists since it's magnetic card. For example, bank card is easily duplicated while being used and then customer account might be processed by others since their pin code is obtained illegally.This case, security level of bank card decreases a lot and also customer's property safety is in danger. To solve the problem, Aerospace Information Co., Ltd proposed a solution of financial IC card with higher security and also designed and completed a financial IC card COS operating system on base of Java Card platform. This solution is much more safe comparing the original plan and also not only meet the growing demand of security level for bank card but also will improve business competitiveness of customer.This article expounds performance, demand to be required by financial IC card COS operating system implement after generally analyzing requirement for national financial IC card specifications according to relevant national regulation about financial products development. Taking solving growing demand for bank card security in the market as start point, we expect to lay the foundation for designment of financial IC card COS operating system. According to software engineering theory and combined with the characteristics of financial IC card COS operating system to be designed, designment plan and concrete realization method is discussed in details. Among them, functional requirement mainly means requirement for each part of financial IC card COS operating system extracted and purified according to relevant national specifications while non-functional requirement mainly reflects in number of normal executions for transaction. To realize those requirement, not only functional requirement for management system but also the necessary support for smart IC card is considered in the designment.This article also expounds designment philosophy with emphasis on debit credit management system of bank financial IC card on the basis of Javacard platform in terms of functionality.With the reference of relevant research abroad for financial card and combined characteristics of developed system, designment plan is presented in details. On that basis, realization method of debit credit management system is explained which is completed by Java language program through Java Card platform. The last part is about how to make test plan and example used for designment test so that overall test for the developed system can be performed scientifically. All together more than400 tests were performed for the system which covered all performance point of the system. Test result proved that system designment is reasonable and meet customer requirement.This paper argues that the financial IC card COS operating system which is optimum designment for existing bank card guarantees fund security of card holder and more favorable for business development of company mean time.
