Research Of Intrusion Detection Algorithm In Cloud Computing Environment

With the rapid development of cloud computing and the widespread application, cloud computing environment safety problems begin to appear particularly important. The traditional intrusion detection as one of the network security defense technology, plays an important role in the field of network security. But in a cloud environment application there response speed, data size, and many other restrictions, unable to meet the demand of real time validity, etc. Therefore, to build a intrusion detection system in cloud computing environment is an important subject.In this paper, according to the characteristics of cloud computing environment, intrusion detection algorithm is studied, and the performance of intrusion detection algorithm is analyzed. A distributed intrusion detection algorithm based on extreme learning machine is designed, which has the advantages of fast detection and high detection rate in the cloud computing environment. The main work of this paper is:Firstly, understand the security threats in cloud computing environment, analysis of a cloud environment intrusion detection algorithm design requirements. To master the intrusion detection technology and related characteristics of intrusion detection algorithm.Then the design requirements of intrusion detection in the cloud environment, through the research of the intrusion detection algorithm, proposed the use of Extreme Learning Machine(ELM) algorithm as an intrusion detection classification algorithm and the rationality verification using extreme learning machine algorithm. At the same time for massive high-dimensional intrusion detection data redundancy and noise influences the efficiency of detection by principal component analysis PCA algorithm for feature extraction, dimensionality reduction to improve the detection efficiency, reduces the detection time. Through the experiment verifies that the algorithm is effective.Finally, research of distributed intrusion detection algorithm, using MapReduce parallel computing framework design parallel PCA algorithm and ELM algorithm, constructing parallel P-ELM intrusion detection algorithm. In Hadoop cloud platform using KDD cup 99 data set to verify algorithm, the results show that the algorithm has high detection rate, low detection time.
