Nowadays,electronic products have become indispensable in people’s daily life.Great changes have taken place in product development,product’s replacement time has been significantly reduced.With increasing competition,improving the quality inspection is key to modem enterprise’s survival and development.A very large scale integrated circuits become more miniaturized and precision.Function test of PCBA as a final test before entering the factory,bears an important role.It’s an important guarantee of the quality of a product.FCT(Functional Circuit Test)device is a production line validated on mounting printed circuit board automatic test equipment.This article introduces an embedded FCT device design which may cut the cost effectively.The system consists of main control board and subsidiary cards.The main control board with ATMEL AT91SAM9260 communicating with other boards by I2C.The functional test platform can realize voltage and current test,I/O input/output test,audio and video test,RS232/485/I2C and other common communication interfaces test,Ethernet test and so on,covering the commonly features of security products.The design process of main board and A/D board are elaborated from the hardware selection,requirement analysis,modular design and system realization.And I update the software structure of the old system which makes embedded FCT device meet the cross-product,cross-platform,easy to be maintained,standardized,recorded and so on.In this way,not only achieving low cost but also avoiding the poor maintenance,poor function of simple faults and badly reused of embedded devices in the past.Finally,an example of the IS6500 product testing and detailed analysis of the voltage and audio testing process to verify the functional test platform practicality.At the same time,I study the JTAG programming of ARM cortex-A8 S5PC100 based on IEEE 1149.1 standard and ADI V5 standard document of ARM and introduce the basic knowledge of the JTAG realizing an off-line JTAG programming,analyzes the hierarchy of the JTAG from top to bottom order.From the point of actual results,implementation of JTAG’s speed is around 1000 KBPS reaches average level of the JTAG device in the market.
