With the development of economy, the progress of medical technology and the improvement of life, our country has entered the aging society. In our country which has such a large population, the pension problem is particularly grim. As a mainstream trend, pension agency has the advantage of professional service, but its longterm independent operation has a serious bad impact on information interaction and improvement of the quality of our service. Pension services generally depends on the existing pension service systems to provide service for the old people, whereas the old systems have a lot of questions, such as different functions, repeated development, slowly system upgrades, which is a waste of hardware resources. Furthermore, pension agencies have to employ professionals to maintain the software and hardware, expensive and not easy to upgrade---can not extend the pension service system dynamically based on the need. Most of the old age service systems are designed as "information island", which can not share services and resources and integrate with other services such as health care system, seriously affecting the quality of the service for the elders. How to integrate and make full use of the services and resources of the local pension institutions and how to provide a wide range of services for the aged are urgent problems to be solved. In view of the above background and system requirements, this thesis build and develop a set of pension service system prototypes based on cloud computing platform.Based on cloud computing platform, our pension service system offer information sharing and on-demand usage services to many pension institutions. The platform manager can manage pension agency and cloud computing platform through the platform management subsystem; The pension agency service subsystem can provide service for pension agency in the cloud computing platform; Family information query subsystem can provide information service for the old people's family. This thesis first embarks from overall demand of the system and studies the overall design scheme, and establish the pension service system architecture based on cloud computing platform. To realize the reliable operation of the whole system, high availability of cloud computing platform are studied in this thesis; To realize the openness of the architecture and to ensure the data security of the subsystem, this thesis studies the expansibility of the system architecture, which means each pension agency has a group of independent server clusters; To achieve on-demand usage of the resources in the cloud computing platform, this thesis studies the elastic load balancing mechanism, which can dynamically adjust the number of virtual servers in the pension agency's virtual server clusters according to the size of the user's access. For pension agency service subsystems, this thesis implements a set of pension agency service subsystems, which are suitable for operations management process of general pension agencies based on B/S through understanding the actual demand of current pension agency.Secondly, this thesis study the K-Means algorithm, and realizes the parallelization of the algorithm. Finally, in this paper, according to requirements of system data analysis we use the data stored in the database of the pension agencies to accomplish the elderly education degree clustering algorithm in cloud computing platform, and evaluate the effect of elderly family education degree on the elderly choice to institutional care. The obtained clustering results provide auxiliary ideas for pension institutions.
