Atmospheric laser communication has become a research focus nowadays, because it has many advantages like high bandwidth, good anti-interference ability, good secrecy and convenience to be generated and it is a communication mode which has a big useful prospect. The research in this thesis is the design of integrated services communication platform based on atmospheric laser communication. It combines the atmospheric laser communication and the existing network communication, which makes the existing network communication to add new methods of communication. It gives full play to their both advantages, which will effectively expand the application range of this communication platform.Firstly, this thesis studies the laser transmission principle in the space and the atmospheric channel transmission characteristics. It studies the traditional ways of digital multiplexing and demultiplexing. It puts forward a suitable multiplexing and demultiplexing solution for this topic with multi-service after that. The common channel coding methods are analyzed and compared. It confirms the channel coding scheme this thesis adopts finally. The common ways of pulse modulation used in atmospheric laser communication and the new proposed compressed digital pulse interval modulation are analyzed and compared. Emission light source and photodetector used in atmospheric laser communication system are studied. After completing the solution design, it completes the function simulation of digital multiplexing and demultiplexing module, RS coder and decoder, DPIM and CDPIM modulator and demodulator with FPGA technology. Finally, it sets up a hardware experimental environment for integrated services communication platform based on atmospheric laser communication and does the functional test. It summarizes the related theory and work, and then it points out the problems which exist in the system and work need to improve.
