Predictive control algorithm has been widely used in the large delay thermal objects.However it can not play the advantage in the application because of existing the problems that complex structure, large amount of calculation, a lot of parameters, the relationship between parameters' meaning and actual system not clear. Aiming at existing problems, proposes a dynamic predictive PID control algorithm based on predictive model. First of all, using MATLAB simulation software sets value disturbance, internal disturbance and robustness test for large delay systems, and analysis of the feasibility of the algorithm. Then, using 600 MW full range of boiler simulator as platform,researches the interface method of simulator and MATLAB, sets adjust quantity disturbance experiment to superheated steam temperature, and analyses dynamic characteristics of the superheated steam temperature, carries out the drop load test under this algorithm, fully verifies the control ability of the algorithm for the superheated steam temperature on the full scope simulator. Finally, using physical model of the water tank as the platform, introduces water tank temperature system, analysis the defects in system,puts forward improvement method on the basis of the existing equipment, sets adjust quantity disturbance experiment on the improved system, and obtains dynamic characteristics of water tank temperature, test sets up disturbance experiment, fully verifies the algorithm's operability in actual water tank temperature system. As a result,the dynamic predictive PID control algorithm in both complex boiler simulator system and on the actual water tank temperature system has superiority in dealing with the control problem of large delay thermal objects.
