With the development of communication technology,and the technology of computer network and signal processing,currently, traditional and single the equpment of electronic countermeasures is not the mainstream of development in the current increasingly complex electromagnetic environment,such as, the problem of radar networking in the field of radar electronic warfare, the information transfer between multiple radar is the need to sovle fiestly, so in order to adapt to the complex electromagnetic environment and electronic warfare, the research of radar- communication integration system has very important significance. Radar- communication integration system includes transmitter and receiver of the integrated signal, radar signal processing and communication signal processing, signal processing includes signal separation, parameter estimation and sorting and so on, among them, the design of the integrated signal and the signal processing are particularly important. In this paper, combining with the actual research project and the current situation, the key is the study of parameter estimation and the design of integration signal, the parameters of radar signal include amplitude?width?time of arrival time?frequency and angle of arrival, forming PDW pulse descriptor of signal.First, this paper describes the background and feasibility of the radar- communication integration system, and introduces the current situation of parameter estimation and radar-communication integration system; secondly, on the basis of radar signals and communication signals, the paper propose the design approach of radar- communication integration signal, which is set the radar signal as a carrier, controling one parameter of radar signal with communication signal, it achieves the radar- communication integration signal with the way of amplitude and phase modulation, it also describes the significance of radar ambiguity function, the function verifies that it has not an impact on the positioning of radar signals after loading the communication signal. Finally, the paper describes the method of parameter estimation, width?wide and time of arrival are time-domain parameters, obtaining them with the method of extracting signal envelope, frequency is obtained throught the way of time-frequency analysis, thought linear FM signal and phase modulation signal as an example, this paper have a simulation comparison and performance test for parameter estimation, realizating blind estimation, and achieveing a certain precision of various parameters.
