Wireless Sensor Networks has long been the focus of experts,scholars and researchers from twentieth century to the early twenty-first century.It contains many very important technologies,such as wireless communication technology,energy harvesting technology,time synchronization technology,nodes localization technology and so on.The applications of Wireless Sensor Networks cover almost all areas of production and life because of its powerful capability,including the control of personnel and equipment,the medical applications systems for help,environment and disaster monitoring systems and so on.After monitoring the event,we need to determine the location in order to make meaningful monitoring datum obtained,so the research on positioning technology and algorithms becomes inevitable.The focus is not the same for each algorithm based on the study of different environmental conditions,.In the location algorithm for Wireless Sensor Networks,many factors affect it such as beacon nodes density,nodes communication radius,connectivity,and the size of monitory region.Many traditional algorithms focused on locating two-dimensional plane,the advantage are that the process of algorithm is simple;it is able to achieve more accurate positioning in a simple environment.Many traditional algorithms focus on two-dimensional plane positioning,the advantages of the algorithms are simple,easy to calculate and can achieve a more accurate positioning in a simple environment.In this paper,the algorithm is a kind ranging localization algorithm based on RSSI,and advantaged on the three-dimensional localization algorithm by estimating the point to the plane of projection of the way to reach dimensionality reduction,improve positioning accuracy.Simulation experiments were conducted on MATLAB R2012 a,based on beacon nodes number and nodes communication radius,comparing the average location error of the original positioning algorithm and improved algorithm,analysis the impact of these two factors on the positioning precision.Experimental results show that the improved algorithm improves the positioning accuracy of the node,has a certain value in the application.
