The rapid development of embedded technology,digital electronic technology and wireless communication technology promotes the development of wireless sensor network(WSN),which allows people to perceive the natural world more clearly.When the Wireless Sensor Network is researched,both of the wireless communication technology and the wireless positioning technology have important theory research signification and utility value.Based on the analysis of the ZigBee wireless communication technology and the existing positioning technology,his paper Improves the algorithm of the received signal strength indicator(RSSI).Nowadays,the wireless sensor network and the positioning technology develop rapidly,which has important practical application value for the study and improvement on the localization algorithm for wireless sensor network based on ZigBee technology.For the RSSI algorithm,Based on the main factors that affect the positioning accuracy of wireless sensor network departure,this paper selects the appropriate signal model – logarithmic decrement model after analyzing the signal propagation model.Then,the selection of the beacon node is improved,it means that we select beacon nodes close to unknown nodes because of the closer the distance,the smaller the impact of targeting.We average the measured distance,and use a small triangle centroid algorithm to improve the accuracy of positioning.The final improvement for the RSSI algorithm is that using matlab simulation.The result shows that the improved algorithm improves the positioning accuracy based on the original algorithm and the improved algorithm has good adaptability and scalability with respect to the original algorithm.In terms of network construction,using CC2430 and CC2431 as the hardware foundation,it implements a simple RSSI-based location system.This paper analyzes the working principle of the CC2431 location engine.The hardware structure of the gateway node,the beacon node and the blind node in the positioning system becomes a reality.The data transmitting and receiving process between various nodes in the positioning system is analyzed in detail,and the software design of the gateway node,the beacon node and the blind node is completed.Then,this system was built and run,and achieved good positioning effect by using Z-Location Engine software to monitor network nodes in real time.
