With the development of the industry,Product design and Product manufacturing need to choice material,while material's corrosion resistance has been one of main consideration to select different materials.Under natural conditions,various factors influence material so that it shows all kinds of characteristics corrosion on the surface,identification and evaluation of the material corrosion characteristics is important research content in material corrosion field.At present,the identification,detection and evaluation of the material corrosion characteristics is still in the naked eye and manual judgment,easily influenced by subjective factors and experienced or not,which make the description of the material corrosion characteristics exist a certain error,affect the analysis and processing for the information of the material corrosion characteristics and cause material corrosion grade evaluation error.Thus to establish an effective detection method and accurately determine information of material corrosion characteristics plays an important role in the corrosion rating.Material surface corrosion reflects the status of material corrosion through mainly rust size,area,amount and color.To effectively extract the information of the material corrosion characteristics plays a vital role in the processing for the information of the material corrosion characteristics.The color information is one of the important of the material corrosion characteristics in the extracted information.In the processing color information,to segment and extract information of corrosion characteristics,analyze the color information,handle color and color-difference,realize quantitative and digitization for the processing of regional information of the corrosion characteristics,provide the theory and evaluation basis for the corrosion rating,is the research emphasis of this paper.Specific work is as follows:Firstly,for the image information from the image acquisition system,it need corrosion characteristics segment.Due to the presence of image noise,adopt the improved level set segmentation algorithm,to segment and extract material corrosion characteristics area.Secondly,in order to accurately process color information of characteristics area,the improved HSV color quantization algorithm and the improved fuzzy clustering algorithm are used to quantify for color information for obtaining the main color of the area.Finally,for material corrosion characteristic information in different periods,to establish database about material corrosion characteristics information,make the color of material corrosion area do color processing and determine quantitative data for corrosion status of materials in different periods,which provide data support and theoretical basis for material corrosion rating.The paper studies the material corrosion characteristics with the advanced technology.Through processing and quantitative for color information,to a certain extent,it reduces the manual labor intensity and promotes the research and development of material corrosion level.
