As a new business model and calculation model,Cloud computing not only changes the traditional mode of network services but also changes the way people use computer network and computer application at the same time.Based on the computing resources,storage resources and integration of software services,Cloud computing become more targeted and provides the user a cheaper way with high speed,which make the separation between the management and using of resource come true.Cloud computing tasks will be distributed component in the mass of computer hardware resource pool and users can enjoy the services provided by cloud computing in the way of on-demand customized manners which include computing power,storage space and information service etc.The cloud resources are composed of massive hardware resources and users' demands depend on themselves,which are the two most notable characteristics of cloud computer.The advantage of Cloud computing is that the scale of its costs reduced significantly at the same time,the quality and efficiency of service increased significantly which provided by the professional services.At home and abroad,many scholars do a lot of research about resource scheduling and load balancing problems of cloud computing,but most of them consider these problems from the cloud service providers.Their studies about Cloud computing are far beyond the ordinary universities and research institutions.And now the market environment is dominated by the cloud service providers,the user can only accept the supplier's terms passively.So we can only discuss how to use the resources of a cloud service provider effectively from our own point of view.After comparison solutions and price history of Amazon EC2 and ALI cloud service,this paper propose a dynamic hybrid cloud resource provisioning method for Amazon EC2 on demand instances and spot instances,and it is used with enhancing user's application to improve reliability,scalability and affordability.Using a Scalable complex System modeling for Sustainable city as a case study,the paper verify the dynamic hybrid resource provisioning method for Amazon EC2,i.e.provisioning on demand instances for scheduler and monitor instance,database instance and backup instances,provisioning spot instances for pure compute resources.Comparing to on demand instances only provisioning method,the proposed method reduces cost significantly.While comparing to spot instances only provisioning method,it improves application reliability and achieves a stable completion time.
