The Research On Moving Target Detecting Technology Base On Machine Vision

The moving target detection based on machine vision has been widely used in many industries and fields in recent years.With the background of the research of moving target detection technology based on machine and traditional moving object detection algorithm,this paper aim at the problems of traditional background model in the detection process,proposed improved algorithm and through comparing,models and examples to prove its effectiveness.This paper analyze of the three common methods in the research of traditional algorithms.Sketching the principle and points out the advantages and disadvantages of the algorithm and its main scope of application.The background subtraction method is the main object of the paper,discuss some common background models in detail.Discussing ViBe background detection algorithm in detail after summarizing the traditional detection technology,an improved ViBe background subtraction algorithm for dealing with the ghost area problem is proposed in the paper.The algorithm uses the theory that the histogram of the ghost area has the similarity distribution characteristics but the histogram distribution of the real moving object is changing with the real object moving to identify the ghost area in image,and the influence of the ghost area on moving object detection is eliminated.The improved ViBe,the original ViBe,Codebook model and GMM are compared and analyzed in the comparison experiment.The results show that the improved ViBe can effectively eliminate the ghost area.
