Safety Of Side-channel Cloud Storage

The most accepted public cloud services must be cloud storage.It allows users to upload files at any time, let users backup their data. But in the cloud storage, there are a lot of duplicate files, which greatly increased the operating costs of cloud storage.The most common way to deal with anti-repeat is data deduplication technology, its central idea is "not to repeat the same data store." Although this technique can directly save 70 to 95% of storage consumption, but this technique is very easy to cause a malicious user to launch cloud storage side channel attacks, any user can understand that the privacy of files stored in the cloud by deduplication technique in the presence server, so it raises a number of security issues, attackers can use this to transfer illegal information, or misuse of cloud storage as a large file transfer channels. Although there are a number of solutions for side channel attacks, but it is not safety and efficiency.In this paper, the data deduplication technology in the cloud file server operating Inquirer presents a new and improved way, Previous method asked for a single file instead of a pair of files upon request. To ensure that users can normally use, while can defend a range of side-channel attack to make an effective defense, and more efficient.
