Two critical parameter in designing reliable wireless products is the ability to efficiently transmit and receive electromagnetic signals. Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association (CTIA) developed an OTA measurements, TRP represent overall transmit performance and TIS represent overall receive performance. In the CTIA standard, TRP measurements are relatively fast and have high measurement repeatability. However, the TIS measurement is often a lengthy process. In order to ensure that the actual user experience, we need TIS band sweep for ensure performance in a band, a novel fast band-sweep measurement for TIS of wireless devices is proposed in this paper.Firstly, this paper describes the OTA test basis, elaborates a complete OTA testing processes and methods. Which focuses on the TIS measurement, analysis of the TIS test definitions, and get the TIS accelerated measurement method.Secondly, we propose a fast algorithm for measuring TIS swept through a radiated sensitivity and antenna average gain both theoretical derivation of this article describes the core algorithm and implementation. Besides paper we completed the system verification platform to build and calibration and uncertainty analysis to ensure the symmetry of the measurement environment to meet the CTIA standard. Finally, measurement verified the accuracy of the results and the reduce measurement time by selecting a different frequency band. The results presented in this paper, a fast algorithm and the traditional search algorithm, under the same measurement accuracy, time savings of more than 80%, the measurement error is controlled within 0.5dB.
