Explosive industry is a high risk industry, to guarantee the safety of the production process, must realize the automation of production process, to achieve less humanization and unmanned. In order to achieve this purpose, The use of AGV can not only improve security, but also can improve the work efficiency and reduce the production cost.In order to achieve the safe and efficient transport explosives factory material, the transport of AGV is designed. At the same time, according to the actual application of AGV navigation need, choose the laser navigation and infrared navigation. However, laser navigation precision is high, the cost is high, and infrared navigation precision is low, the cost is low, in order to get high precision and low cost way of navigation, laser and infrared integrated navigation mode. Implement integrated navigation need data fusion technology, at the same time, the integrated navigation data is nonlinear, so choose EKF to realize information fusion. In this paper, specific research method is by looking at a large number of literature and patent technologies such as the material, the study of enterprise technology at home and abroad and the status quo, combined with actual application requirements, this study choose specific navigation method,and improved continuously. AGV platform established, after the Navigation test, Laser single navigation horizontal average error is 0.1367 m, the vertical average error of 0.1835 m, infrared single navigation horizontal average error is 0.1873 m, the vertical average error of 0.2690 m, the combination of EKF data fusion navigation horizontal average error is 0.0861 m, the vertical average error of 0.1200 m, more error value, minimum error of EKF data fusion navigation. By the above results can be concluded that the combination of EKF data fusion navigation in the transport of explosive device error is small, high precision. Therefore, the combination of EKF data fusion navigation is a kind of low cost effective ways to improve the navigation accuracy.
