With the rapid development of the automotive manufacturing industry and computer technology, automotive electronics technology are increasingly being applied to improve traffic safety and address traffic disputes and so on. Panoramic video splicing technology as car Allround key technology has become a hot research topic. Currectly, vehicle traveling data recorder and reverse image are all based on a single camera system. So the study of Panoramic video splicing technology has important practical significance.Research on the image distortion correction,proposed wide-angle lens distortion model proposed, and using the template method to correct the wide-angle lens. For a scene imaging information-rich features, designed the algorithms of extraction and matching based on feature point. The algorithm uses SURF operator, has high accuracy extracting and matching, good stability feature points. Combined with the establishment of the two to be spliced homography transformation matrix, proposed an improved RANSAC robust feature points matching algorithm, estimated the homography for the two adjacent mosaic image and improve the accuracy of registration.Designs image stitching algorithm according to homography geometric transformation matrix between adjacent frame image.The image interpolation and integration acquired mosaic which has visual consistency mosaic.Splicing multiple image sequences for a large field of view directly will broke visual consistency or resulting in deformation of the shooting scene and so on.So I using a method based on cylindrical projection splicing, which makes the image meet people’s visual habits after the image stitching.Finally, analyzed the real-time video splicing, and proposed several programs which can improve the splicing efficiency.
