With the rapid development of internet, E-Learning projects were carried out widely in companies. However, technically, current E-Learning softwares could not fulfill the company's dynamic needs after a period of time when it was firstly lunched. Most of the companies chose to purchase a new software which leads to a lot of repeated and wasted investment. In this study, we focused on the more generalized "Courseware data storage and full text search system" in E-Learning, extract its story, and redesigned a Service-oriented architecture system.In our work, the application of XoSQL database, queue cache,and various of open source components which are the internet mainstream leads to the realization of a new "Courseware data storage and full text search system" with high generalization value. As the first author, I participated all the stages of the software design since selection of technical model to establishment of data model, from development framework construction, to formulate development document specification. Various of technical notes of related softwares were referenced and integrated with my long term working experience in the industry. In the paper, a comprehensive review was also made for the most important E-Learning modules including storage, display and searching. Hope this will benefit to the other E-Learning designers.The system described in the paper was lunched and applied in China Telecom Online University. Key technical points related to high concurrency, scalability, and maintainable were perfectly realized by the design.
