With the rhythm of modern life become fast and the living standards improved, people pay more attention to their physical and mental health. Sport as a major way to improve physical fitness has become a popular favor. Therefore, popular sports have also been in the period of rapid development. However, the lack of professional sports guidance may result in the problem that the competitive level of sports enthusiasts is difficult to improve. What is worse, it may lead to the occurrence of sports injuries and other issues. Therefore, the development of a suitable popular sports teaching system is necessary.Popular sports teach system includes the function of three-dimensional motion capture, motion reconstruction, comparative analysis of human action and human motion biomechanical analysis. Currently, our group has made partial victory in the motion reconstruction part. So in this article we focus on motion capture, comparative analysis and biomechanical analysis. After the understanding of development status and existing problems of each section, this paper carried out the following work:In the three-dimensional motion capture aspect, we use the Microsoft Kinect somatosensory camera to capture the motion data. Kinect can accurately capture the key node data of human skeleton. What is more, Kinect has low price, high precision and high availability. Meanwhile, there is no limit to the performer's movements. Therefore, it is suitable for popular sports teaching system. In addition, the amount of data to be logged is decreased greatly, on the other hand, it provides convenience to the subsequent motion construction and analysis. In the comparative analysis of human action, considering the action sequences characteristics of high-dimension, asynchrony and volatility, we introduced an approach of gesture distance and longest common subsequence. First, the gesture distance can effectively solve the problem of high-dimension. Moreover, it also can reflect the spatial structure of the human body. Second, the longest common subsequence method can overcome mutation and drift of the motion data, and support deformation of the timeline. Finally, this method can give the global and local matching results of different action sequences. It will provide intuitive advice and guidance for sports teach. In the biomechanics of human movement analysis, we uses the LifeMOD software to establish the human skeleton-muscle model. LifeMOD is a professional biomechanical simulation software. And, the established human skeleton-muscle model is realistic. At the same time, the model will be active due to that the joints and muscle tissue have learning capabilities. First, skeletal structure re-definition and data processing will be done. Then we do reverse dynamics simulation and forward dynamics simulation. Finally, kinematics and kinetics data can be obtained for the prevention of sports injuries.
