Rendering is an the final important step In computer graphics, it can achieve the satisfactory visual effect. As the increasingly of people's high demand for visual effects, fluid rendering based on physics is the study of the hot issues in the field of computer graphics, computer vision and virtual reality etc. we can see traces of fluid rendering whatever in the movie special effect, the three dimensional animation or large games. These factors determine that the fluid rendering is not only a research hot spot at present, but also will become an important direction for future research of computer graphics.Firstly, the thesis have conducted in-depth research and analysis on the related theories and technology of physics-based fluid simulation, and also study and analyze the physical-based model including Navier-Stokes Equation, Some views of Euler method Lagrange method, we inquiry the speeding problem of fluid simulation Fundamentally. We learn and research the steps and processes for simulation on the GPU, this thesis is carried out by GPU-rendering simulation.During the process of rendering Based on fluid, we choose the ray tracing and the ray casting two kinds of algorithms as researching Object. During the learning ray tracing algorithm,we point out my own views and improved to the light intensity. And improve the realism of the rendering; in the improved ray casting algorithm, we increase the color overlay control coefficient, on the previous light color of the superposition, introduced the simplified Plong illumination model, increase the color of fluid control, to enhance the visual effect of rendering of fluid. Then, This thesis summarizes the current achievements, prospects the future work.
