The passenger flow statistical system based on artificial statistics and infrared induction has gradually been eliminated, because of the difficult construction technology and low technical precision. The passenger flow statistical technology based on video detection becomes the key schemes for the passenger flow statistical technology. However, it was greatly influenced by the brightness, light conditions and passenger flow, and it is difficult to do further customer analysis. Because of the identification function, strong expansibility, wide application range and the strength of insusceptible to multipath fading non-line-of-sight error factors, the WiFi technology with the growing popularity gradually began to be used in indoor positioning technology and became the key schemes for the passenger flow statistical technology. This topic has designed a set of the passenger flow statistical system based on Smart WiFi, which makes use of the development of Smart WiFi devices based on open source OpenWRT system. It is used to sniffer realizing passenger flow statistical and analyze passenger flow information of a certain place in and out through the data mining technology.The passenger flow statistics system based on Smart WiFi including smart WiFi devices and backend server.At the same time, it will be divided Smart WiFi Device and server into modules according to the function implementation.Smart WiFi Devices include sniffer caught, data transmission and process management. It takes Smart WiFi devices as the carrier, which is based on OpenWRT system, realizing to capture MAC address of the device and RSSI valuesthen uploaded to the server.It adds the reverse proxy and the daemon to ensure that the equipment is controlled remotely and the program running stably. The Server includes data receiving, data processing, the front-end display and process management. It mainly takes the cloud server as the carrier, realizing to receive the data packets sent by Smart WiFi Device and analyze, store them as well as display the passenger flow information in the front-end by calling database.Sniffer module of This topic's Smart WiFi Device part mainly uses the open source and resource-rich libpcap library to capture raw packets under Linux systems. according to user's requirements, it sets to retrieve data packet filtering mechanism, the required data packets to the application layer, data transfer module based on Http protocol using Libcurl library to implement the data transmission between the Smart WiFi Device and the server,it creates Autossh backlinks and related sniffer process so that the process management module is easy to manage the equipment remotly and ensure daemon stably. Server-side adopted Python which the development is fast and language is simple and Django framework to analyze and process related data and using the MVT model for this topic, to display the front passenger flow. About data storage, it uses the MySQL database whose language is concise but function is extremely strong. the server process management module for the realization batch updates of the hardware device configuration information and ensure the server program can automatically restart when abnormal exit in order to increase data reliability by setting up a Ftp server and the Supervisor process management procedures.This topic according to the different function of system, set up a development environment, completed the development and transplantation of hardware part of the OpenWRT system and the code implementation of the passenger flow statistical system based on Smart WiFi. Then finished field experiments. The Passengers flow which is based on Smart WiFi is used by four shopping malls and once on an Auto show scene now and the result turns outto be that it has a quite positive effect on estimating accuracy,can satisfy the demand on actual passengers' traffic statistics.
