Spectroscopy is an important technology means for physical component testing and process analysis and it's widely used in biology, medicine, geology, food safety and many other fields. Because of the large volume and high cost, traditional spectrometer has limited applications,but miniatured fiber optic spectrometer based on a CCD plays an increasingly important role in many areas of research and production due to its advantages like small size, easy to use, cheap, etc.Linear CCD has features of small size, high sensitivity, fast response.In this paper the CCD detector was deeply analyzed both on theory caculation and of optical response property, and experiments were emphatically designed to study the relationship between CCD output and exposure. The linear relationship between CCD output and the logarithm of the exposure was found when the exposure is large, thus in the system design requirements must be made to strictly limit the integration time in order to meet linearly amplified working conditions.For the problem of TCD1304 DG nonsensitive to ultraviolet light, fluorescent substance coating technology was used to greatly increase its quantum efficiency in the ultraviolet region.In the instrument design, data acquisition and software design were carried out in the paper. High-performance single-chip was used to complete CCD drive circuit and data acquisition for reducing hardware circuit size and meeting the requirement of miniaturize instruments in the design. Communication software based on USB CDC class protocol and application software based on labview were designed to implement data communications and spectral measurements,and this method ensure that the data transfer speed while saving software development e time.Some experiments were made and the wavelength range, resolution, accuracy, repeatability, sensitivity, stability and signal to noise ratio of the design were anslyzed.The result shows that development of spectrum snapping system has the advantages of simple structure and high linearity more than 0.998 after correction.In short, miniaturized spectral data snapping system based on linear CCD spectral imaging technique was desinged and fulfilled in this paper,and the system has the advantages of wide spectral coverage, high resolution, fast response and good stability.
