In recent years, the three-dimensional technology has become a hot spot in area of information processing and human visual system, stereoscopic photography technology has been becoming mature, independent filming becomes the new trend of development. Comparing three-dimensional stereoscopic technology with two-dimensi onal planar technology, acquisition about multiple viewpoints in the three-dimensional scene depth information and implicit information is added, thus, viewers can get a stronger feeling of depth, more intuitive and natural feeling, in addition, users can also enjoy the 3D scene from different directions, therefore, stereo camera shooting system becomes the main development direction of the stereo imaging and shooting technology. However, the booming stereoscopic shooting technology is not matching the quality evaluation method at home and abroad, there is not a corresponding standard for stereoscopic shooting quality. Then, the assessment of stereo camera shooting quality has become a burning problem demanding prompt solution.This paper studies the current multi-view stereo image acquisition system and the background of the previous shooting principles for stereo camera, according to needs of the evaluation, named shoot distance as the starting point and the point of division, through analyzing the influence of camera parameters to shooting quality comprehensively when stereoscopic images captured under macro, near and far distance shooting. This paper designed and implemented a stereo camera quality objective evaluation criteria, the criteria can optimize the three-dimensional shooting guidelines and can be used to provide stereoscopic images shooting guidance. Research results of this paper will provide theoretical basis and methods for quality assessment of stereoscopic cameras, also they have great significance to promote the development of stereoscopic photography technology.
