With the advent of the time of big data,the traditional storage fails to meet people's demand since the data is becoming bigger and bigger.And new requirement is raised in the security of network storage.Object storage system with the lower cost,higher scalability and reliability has been wildly applied in big data storage.OpenStack as an open source cloud platform project has been widely used in data storage.At present,the official recommends Swift as the object storage on OpenStack cloud platform.But in block storage and image management module,Ceph can be configured as the back-end storage.Considering the advantage of Ceph and simplifying the process of deploying,We can configure Ceph as the object storage back-end.Then,we obtain an object storage with high performance and relatively safity with Ceph.The main contents as follows:Firstly,we use Fuel to deploy an four-node OpenStack cloud platform,and imple ment the HA in the aspect of back-end database,improve the reliability of the cloud platform.Secondly,we test the I/O performance in large file(1M)and small file(4K).Meanwhile,we test the average I/O performance in the different file size and concurrency,we also test the performance in the scalability.According to the data replication strategy of CRUSH algorithm,we put forward a method which using a separate storage network to optimize the I/O performance.The experiments demonstrate that the method can improve the performance in the aspect of writing data.Thirdly,we analyze process of certification in Keystone,put forward a method to verify the password strength before register user and modify the password.
