Abstract/Summary:
Teaching and research are the core works of the college and institute in university, how to provide service, save time and implove work efficiency for tecchers, to facilitate the application of projects, reporting and other management works for basic research institute, is very necessary and has a great practical value to develop a scientific research and tecching service platforn.The paper is under the background of actual teaching and researching situation in basic research institute, and relys on the "211" construction project. The teaching and Research service system is designed and developed based on the.NET platform. This system is different from the management information systems and decision support systems for managers, it faces the teacher directly, and services to the teaching and research works for teachers, and belongs to the higher development stage of MIS.Firstly, based on the resecrch of a lot of correlative literatures, this pager begeins with the development of MIS, and then, gives comprehensive overview of current situation and the developing tends of the teaching and research management information system, the problems existing in the current system are described, and also, the necessities of the improvement of system are explained. On the base of analyzing the.NET platform, the pivotal technology in use, such as ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Ajax, Z39.50 protocol, String matching is introduced.Secondly, the feasibility of system is analyzed from economic, technology and application angles by comprehensive use of the theory and methods in systems engineering, computer applications and software engineering; under the ground of practical problems in teaching and research works, in the view of service, it gives a detail analysis of the functional requirement of the system from following aspects, such as teaching, research, treatise, awards and honors, etc; then is the requairement analyzes of the performance from following aspects, such as practicability, maneuverability, etc.Based on the analysis of this system, the overall structure of the system was designed, which uses the three-tied B/S pattern, base on the core idea of providing "application" and "service" for users,system functions are divided into:web function, information automatic access and notification; for information automatic access and notification,it was briefly designed from following aspects,such as implementation styles, treatment process and the interface with other function modules, etc; for the web function, from the service-oriented point, the system functions are divided into some aspects, such as teaching information, student information, academic and scientific research, treatises and patents, awards and honors, user information management, system management, and then, each function of the aspects was designed in detail; by means of analysis and discussion in the aspect of string matching algorithm, which is used in intelligent output, and then the intelligent output function was designed in detail; by analyzing the E-R model of the system, gives a summary design of the database structure; the layout and style of user interface was designed in detail, in terms of ease of use and practical.Finally, by means of C#, SQL Server, AJAX and other technologies, some importment functions were realized, such as, browsing features, query, statistical analysis, template editing, intelligent output and others.
